Dissoutions

In the event of a dissolution of any partnership or agreement, we are committed to maintaining transparency. A public announcement will be made through our social media platforms, and an email notification will be sent immediately to our partners and all individuals or organizations supporting our programs. We prioritize clear communication to ensure that all stakeholders are informed promptly.

Location and Privacy

Our programs are spread across various areas within and outside of Kampala, with our shelters located outside the city. These shelters, as well as our office, women’s centers, street children drop-in centers, and community outreach locations, are integral to our mission. The majority of the vulnerable individuals we work with come from the ghettos surrounding Kampala, and our far-reaching programs, including family tracing and resettlement initiatives, often take us to different parts of Uganda.

The safety and privacy of the children in our care are paramount. Many of the children we serve are survivors, having escaped from dangerous environments such as sexual abuse, violence, and involvement with drug groups. As such, their identities and personal information must be kept confidential at all times. Visitors to our shelters may take photos, but only under strict supervision to ensure the privacy and protection of the children.

The exact locations of our shelters must remain private to safeguard the children, staff, and the integrity of our programs. This is particularly critical due to incidents in the past where the safety of the children was compromised. We ask that all partners, supporters, and the public respect the confidentiality of our shelter locations, as well as the identities of those we serve, to prevent potential risks and security breaches.

Our children attend various schools in and outside of the city, and due to the sensitive nature of their backgrounds, we maintain strict confidentiality regarding the names of these institutions. These details are only shared with trusted partners or sponsors who are directly involved in the children’s care and support. We take these precautions because many of the children have fled from situations that make them vulnerable to harm, and disclosing their school information or location could expose them to further risk.

We are committed to the safety and well-being of every individual under our care and work diligently to create an environment where they can heal, grow, and thrive
