HOW YOU CAN HELP: OUR GOAL IS TO RAISE $7,500
In order to make this vision a reality, we need to raise $7,500 to cover rental costs and operational expenses for the center. Every dollar you contribute will bring us one step closer to providing the safety, privacy, and care these children so desperately need.
WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS,
HELP US KEEP DEBORAH'S LIBRARY: A LIFELINE FOR CHILDREN IN DIRE COMMUNITIES
In many of the communities we serve, countless children are unable to attend school due to extreme poverty, forcing them to spend their days at home or on the streets. Without access to education or safe spaces, they often find themselves exposed to dangerous situations, resorting to harmful behaviors just to survive.
That’s where Deborah’s Library comes in—a beacon of hope for these children. Since its founding on July 16, 2019, the library has evolved from a few pop-up reading corners into a vital center where children gather to learn, grow, and escape the hardships of their everyday lives.
FROM POP-UP LIBRARIES TO A FULL-TIME COMMUNITY HUB
We initially launched 35 pop-up libraries across different communities, creating a safe space for children to read and learn. The impact was immediate and far beyond what we had imagined. Mothers in the community, many of whom live in unimaginable circumstances, felt relief knowing their children were safe and engaged in positive activities while they worked.
However, the pop-up libraries became more than just a place for evening reading sessions. Children began staying longer, eagerly learning to read and write, and we realized that a permanent, full-time space was desperately needed.
A SAFE HAVEN FOR LEARNING AND GROWTH
Deborah’s Library is more than just a place to read—it’s a refuge for children who would otherwise be left behind. Many of these children come from homes where sending them to school is not an option. Others who attend school struggle to stay enrolled due to the financial pressures their families face, leading to high dropout rates and increased risk of being drawn into life on the streets.
The library gives these children a chance—a safe, structured environment where they can learn, read, and engage in uplifting activities that build their confidence and shape their futures. It acts as a small, informal school where children can come from morning to evening, learning valuable skills while staying off the streets.
OUR GOAL: $2,000 TO SUPPORT DEBORAH'S LIBRARY
We need your help to raise $2,000 to fully fund Deborah’s Library and keep it running as a community hub for children who have no other access to education. Your contribution will help us cover the costs of books, materials, and the operational expenses that keep this safe space open for the children who need it most.
Why Your Support Matters:
$25 provides books and learning materials for 5 children.
$50 helps keep the library open for a week.
$100 supports an entire month of programming for the children.
By supporting Deborah’s Library, you’re giving children from the most dire communities an opportunity to escape the cycle of poverty through education. You’re helping them build a future filled with hope, progress, and opportunity.
Join us in empowering these children. Your donation will change lives.
